i'm just like taking abuse i'm not super fast nor do I have the affiliations anymore - i just can drive the 17.5 better then a boost mod car not that it wouldn't have been fun - just rather not be fixing it each round like I did with my boosted 13.5 12th scale

Just a question for you 12thscale guys , what is the most commen tire compound and brand used on this track ? Also what is a good starting rollout , and any other tips I'm coming from Canada so I want to come prepared for this , first time running outdoors with a 12th scale so all the tips would be awesome

Thanks
Jonb

double pink fronts & pink rears is a 'safe' bet. if your car is pushing you can probably just add compound on the fronts to gain more steering. people have been running either BSR Racing or Jaco 1/12th foam tires.

also note -- depending upon how your car is handling, you might run through fronts quicker than rears -- or the opposite. realistically we are only getting 2-3 8m runs from a set of tires depending upon what ride height you start with

1/12 is the only class that will have a pass on the details. All other classes with need to be in compliance.

Ok perfect thanks for the info I've been using double pink front and rear on carpet so I have alot of these sets laying around I'll grab a couple extra to be safe and some pink rears thanks , I was thinking 4mm ride height and maybe around a 90 roll out ?

You'll want to at least be at 4mm. U could easily go up to 5mm or higher. Depending upon your motor and it's timing roll outs could even be larger than 100mm.

Questions about vintage trans am class...

Vintage tires have to be bought on site?

Thanks

Last time I asked Sharpe he was putting together an official rule set, but as far as I know, yes, yes and no. I'm not sure if an FDR limit will be in place or not.

We had a 12th scale race this weekend. It was very successful for all involved except Hanulec.

Cars handle very good when traction is good.
