ROAR only runs controlled practice from 8 or 9AM till 6PM on Thursday. Anything before or after that is done by the host as they can leave practice open as long as they like. This goes for after Quals are over as well each day. Carpet nats had it till 10PM each night after the races were over.

As noted on the flyer, the club is going to continue practice on Thursday, after the RMT leaves, until 9pm for our late arrivals. Friday practice is up in the air and depends on how smoothly the qualifiers go among other variables. Hope that helps.

Practice will be open after RMT leaves for everyone correct? Not just late arrivals?

Hey y'all. I'm looking for some R/C hospitality...

Not that I haven't been helped a ton in this department already for this race...

I will not be able to fly out of Dallas until after 3 on Thursday which means I won't be landing until late in the evening, NJ time. I am flying via a buddy pass on Southwest and am looking for a ride from the airport to the track/my hotel Thursday night. The good news is I can choose to fly to anywhere SW flies, so I can get to Newark or Philly (I have more options making Philly however). I'd be happy to pay your gas and some $$ for your time, and I thoroughly expect not to make any practice. In fact, I expect anyone willing to help to get their fill of practice before considering leaving on my account. If you think you might be able/willing to help PM me. Thanks!

Andrew

Joel is going to be there with his mod gear in the car. I already sent the trophies, so lets get some more mod racers. If they don't show, We're still going to have the Blackstock/Johnson shootout! I have faith that there's a dozen or so mod guys that will show. I grew up in this part of the country. I know there aren't that many people scared of running a mod motor. ;o)

We'll have coverage, but I couldn't get verification if LiveRC is covering the event from our video feed. The live feed webpage will be posted on the first post of this thread next week. Stay tuned!

Anyone know if the new RevTech "orange can" motors are going to be legal for this race?
