Also, on another note what's up with alot of rc mfr's coming out with FF's and Formula cars these days? Are they trying to get the full scale racers\enthusiasts into rc? Kind of like what Short Course has done in the US.

Probably because its different and its the "in" thing right now. Hopefully with the influx of cars and drivers, it will stay. Hopefully it doesn't get all out of whack and kill itself

This car looks "right".
Glad to see a full "f1" style front end on it too.
Anyone know how wide it is?
(*EDIT..question asked already...sorry)

Looks like a 200mm car but I see a fairly large spacer behind the rear spur gear.(adjustable?)

Looks like a 200mm front end. Rear makes no difference as the difference is only wheel width. Looks to be F104/F109 wheelbase as well.

Wings are Tech Racing, front is Tech Racing 10 Type A for wide cars, so it's guaranteed to be a 200mm car, and the rear is Tech Racing Lightweight high downforce rear wing. Both have vac formed upper sections.

Body and upper deck look F109ish. Dampening possible same too. Looks good, got a ways to go until release. And an RTR in November? hmmmm.

I can't figure out how you mount the steering servo on this car. It obviously goes in front of the battery and behind the front suspension, but how do you mount it? No holes for servo mounts.

Also, will other brands of tires/wheels fit the axles? Can you use Tamiya and other brand wheels or only Serpent wheels?

One more question: Will Tamiya front and rear wings and bodies fit this car?

Interesting, that body is the 3racing f109 body as far as I can tell. And it seems to be missing the separate nose piece.

This car and the 1/8th F180, both in proto type form. things will change before the production is final. i would expect link Rods to the steering Knuckles and a servo saver and mounted servo in the final production.
