Suspension arm L+R wide carbon F110, I know most if not all of the US is 180mm but I thought I'd put it out there.

So far things have been going well with the F110 each run is getting better with the car.

We've had the front bulkhead revised here in OZ. My team mate (a fitter and turner) has made it from aliuminium with great results I'll post pics tomorrow.

Other things I've done to date is 2mm spacers under the front top arm giving more roll center, caster is now also at 6 deg, and the side springs are now 6.25 AE springs. Next test is to try out all front springs. Here in OZ the tracks are slightly more rougher and the softer springs that the TAMIYA drivers are using aren't working as well for me with the F110 so I'll try going harder and see what happens.

This body is for use only for the camera when videoing races.

Until next time WILL
Hi.

I've just bought a F110 and was wondering where you got the wide front end arms etc. Did you get these from Walter?

Cheers

Yes at WALTERS

http://www.walterrchobby.com.au/inde...0000.html?p=33

And to update, on the weekend I changed back to the 5.5 side spring and went the soft front spring using the RIDE spring set and 35wt oil on king pin..

2 deg toe out front stablised the car coming out of high speed corners, 2mm shim under front top arm ball link (front ball only left the rear top arm ball link standard). Ride height is at 4mm front 5mm rear, 500wt shock oil with 2 hole piston.

After these changes the F1 felt more comfortable to drive still tender on corner exit but I think tyre choice was the issue here as R1 where to only compound I had, soft f and r would of been the go.

Did you ever get this issue solved? Mine is doing the same thing.

Just so I'm on the same page this what you both are referring too (pic below would not come up as pic hopefully it opens for you as it does at my end?)?

Mine is all together and it wont budge at all and I can't understand this happening when it is kept in place with the top plate when screwed down? The actual ball is just seated in until the top is tightened and has a very free movement this is a critical area and must have free movement or it wont work correctly. Try finishing (If it isn't already) and let me know if it continues and I'll pull mine apart and see for you

Yes that's the location. When I attach the lower graphite pod plate to that pivot ball with the screw, it easily pops out the bottom of the "football".

Default pivot ball

I sent a message on hobby talk. my car is built and up and running. I moved the larger pivot ball to the center piece. car is fine now. pivot ball does not fall out of holder.

question though.

what front wing fits on this car, as the Tamiya f104 does not fit, and I would like a 1 piece. I can't find one in the States.

I used a 3 Racing (FGX) wing at first and ground down the lip that hold the lexan wing at an angle on the bumper (wing support) this in turn put the wing on an angle downwards and would actually lift the front at high speed.
I haven't tried the TAMIYA wings.
I now have replace the bumper and attached the 3 Racing front wing again leaving it as is and this was the ticket works well looks good and is strong, I have ruined the two lexan wings already in some crashes and now will be sticking with the 3 Racing one. Screw the wing straight down on the support at 4 equal points not in the center as that part of the wing is raised slightly and screwing it down at this point warps the wing. Hope this helps you out some.

Found the culprit (5mm dia ball vs 4.5) hiding on a steering block. Hadn't tried attaching the linkage yet.
