Default ride height

i have been playing around with my tc3's ride height and between the condition of my street and the bent front bumper i have it set at 8mm so it doesent scrape when i go over small bumps etc. but when i race i want to set it at 5mm and is it just me or is that extremly low to the ground, i know the lower the better but thats exactly the height of 3 cds thats very low

Yeah AE gauge is alright. The Dynamite & Hudy ones are pretty precise & has alot of measurements.

If you are going to run your TC3 outdoors you may as well upgrade to the 200 mm Rally. Then 8 mm will be kind to the set up and alignment will be easy.

Keep your Carpet racer clean.

Your droop number will have to decrease to allow your chassis to ride low.

Use a marker and darken all 4 corners under the braces and check after each race to see if the chassis is scraping the ground.

You may also need to sand the chassis into a V shaped bottom to allow the chassis to roll without scraping.

We use a section of 4mm steel stock to gauge ride height at our track to prevent people from slamming their cars too low and causing more collisions.
