I use a quasar pro. with a .05. I take a temp reading with my temp gun after the charge. if the temp is below 120f I imediately repeak to build up the heat where I want it. Between 130f and 140f. If it doesnt get hot enough or too hot I adjust on the next pack. I have had to go up as high as .07 indoors during the winter.

I dont think you should run 2 peaks.... the GFX has a short peak lockout with every charge, if you repeak too soon after the first charge this lockout could be causing a overcharge condition and the high temps you reported. As I posted earlier I only peak once and I repeak only if the pack temp has dropped too low before my race. Also.... "yea what speedie said"

The Long Lock Out feature is user adjustable on or off. I leave it off all the time.

Take 2 packs. Cycle the first one with one peak and a discharge then cycle the 2nd with a repeak after 60 seconds. You will ALWAYS want to repeak after this test.

You will have more run time, more voltage and a lower IR with the repeak pack.

True-a repeak makes all the numbers get better on a cycle.
