Difference in Losi XXX-S Belts?
What is the difference in the Team Losi Long Black Belt and the Extra Flexible Yellow belt?

the long belt is longer and more efficient, but thge yellow one is still good
I had faster lap times with the yellow belt then I did with the balck one, but that is just me

I got my XXX-S G+ from ebay, and when I got it, it had a dark blue belt on it. Which one is that?

dark blue belt is either the original crappy no flex stock belt from the original car or you might have gotten one of kinwald's second hand cars. you will want to upgrade that if you want any performance

I figure it must be the original belt because the crap is rather stiff.

guys at the tracks use the black belt. they noticed that even if you tighten it there is no binding. the drivetrain is still free. another guy went the exrea distance by using a nailcutter and cut every other tooth of his black belt.

or 2 b extra free use the black and cut every other tooth out but there is a odd # of teeth it's still very free

i've heard a lot about cutting everyother tooth on drive belts when people talk about xxx-s, does that trick only work on xxx-s? how about cars with more than 1 belt? would it still work

A belt is a belt to me. It seems like it would work with all of them.

Sorry, the "belt is a belt" thing was about if clipping off every other tooth. I agree, the blue belt is crap.
