Look at the receiver and see if it has a brand name on the label. Does it have crystals? Does it say 27mhz, 75mhz or something else on it?

That's a start to matching it up to a transmitter

That is channel #4 (of 6), (Yellow), (27mgh). The one in the receiver should be a Rx for receiver. The Tx is transmit which should go in the radio itself. Somewhere on there it should say AM or FM. That you have to know. Here is a list of crystals for 27 mgh.

#1-Brown---26.995
#2-Red-----27.045
#3-Orange--27.095
#4-Yellow--27.145
#5-Green---27.195
#6-Blue----27.245

1st you have to know if it's AM or FM, and name brand of receiver...Futaba, KO Propo, Hitec, JR... I have FM receivers and radio pkg. if you're interested. P.M. me and I'll LYK what I got.

As long as you match AM/FM and the frequency , its okay , but best to get a matching set of Rx and Tx crystals
together.
