Does anyone know if these motors are compatible with Novak's Havoc 2S ESC? Do the Monster Locked motors have built in thermal protection? I can't get the motor to work with this ESC but I'm not sure why.

Thanks.

Does anyone know if Trinity is still producing this motor? A few guys from my local track are starting to kick around the idea of starting a spec class using this motor. Stormer Hobbies have them in stock, but in low quantities. Don't want to start something that can't get off the ground. Any help would be appreciated.

Speed Passion is offering the V3 with a locked timing. and they should be pretty inexpesive as well. Our club has 20 Reventon Club Spec 17.5 combos on order... they are about 85 bucks for the speedo/motor.

We were looking at those as well, but some of us had concerns that they wouldn't work in some of the rear pods due to bullet connector placements. Some of us are running older pan cars like the 10L and old Hyperdrives and it's already a chore getting the motors to fit with the solder configuration on the top of the motor. What kind of cars are you guys running?
