That's probably as clear as mud! I'll post pics if it works out!

Thanks! I've been looking at it some more and think I can remove the spur gear from the gear molded onto it. That gives me the gear that mates with the rest of the gear train and a place for one bearing. The 64 p pinion will have a bearing recess machined into it and slide up into the molded gear and the two gears will be keyed together. When I get the parts started I may have to make mor chages to keep the overall length of the assembly short enough to fit between the mounting points.

Finally finished with the build just now . Here is a link to view the pictures
The build went pretty well as most do, and quality wise it seems fairly well. Hopefully we will see the upgrades for the car soon.
Came across a few things that could be better, and these are:
-Shocks are not all the best, would be better if they had o-rings in the bottom of the shock body along with the plastic spacer.
- Turnbuckles could be thicker, but for now they will do.
- Alloy wheel hexes
Some tips for the build:
Gear Diff:
- Sand the back of the bevel gears flat with 600+grit sand paper. (This makes the diff smoother)
Plastic Components:
- Pre thread the holes in the plastics, makes it easier to work with when mounting everything together.
- Cut excess material from the tree's off.
CVD's
- They come pre built, but I'd suggest you rebuild them with AE or equivalent black grease.
- Buy some alloy 5mm wheel hexes, the plastic ones wont cut it.
Steering:
-Build and install the steering turn buckles at the same stage as you build the steering column. Makes it easier to install them if you do this.
Over all for the price, the car seems pretty good. Just waiting on my electrics and tires to arrive, then its off to the track .
I'm assuming 3 Racing only released it as a S spec due to it being a different kit and worried it would not sell, im sure they will release a new kit soon with all the new hop ups as factory.
