here's a few attached pictures. i've been looking at how other FGX owners have crammed all the components under the hood but most chasis look heavily modified which i'm not up to doing just yet.

factory chasis set up. Yeah Racing 35A ESC w/ YR 10T motor, Bluebird lopro Hi-speed servo, Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver and 7.4V Lipo ...........
Three things:
1 The Tamiya connector is too large and inefficient, update this to a smaller Deans plug.

2 The speed control fan will not fit under the body. Remove it and shoe goo the fan behind the back of the motor on an angle.

3. The receiver can go on the right side of the chassis in the space behind the servo. you may need an extension from the speed control.

It took a couple of hours of just staring at the thing and moving wiring. SMH
Use either strapping tape or zip ties to manage your wiring. I tried spiraling but there is very limited room under the body.

Hope this helps

the dude that owns my local shop suggested the same thing, i am going to do it in a bit but need to get the soldering gear. in the mean time, i'll make due. it's my first car so still gettin all the tools i need.

actually it fit under the body okay with a little jiggle room to spare.
3. The receiver can go on the right side of the chassis in the space behind the servo. you may need an extension from the speed control.
that was another suggestion too, it seems most stable standing on it's end. i will play around with it some more to see if there is a better option.

More Exotek goodies

Just a question,i love the way the rear upper arms look on the FGX,just look scale and right i guess....the geometry isnt the best, but cant have it all...

Has anyone seen the carbon fibre upper arms on the Rabbit site on there chassis, are these available seperately,or not at all and just a custom one off?

Thanks...

The rear upper carbon fiber arms are a standard part in the rabbit conversion kit. I don't know if you can buy them separately but they are not a custom one off piece. They work really well too. Hope this helps a little.
