I thought it would make a great candidate for a RWD Trans Am car. The wheels fit straight away. The wheel base would need to be shortened to 10" to fit all the HPI bodies and a front shock tower mount would be required. One of their other models might work better as a base platform.

question around the diff.......when it's not underload, it spins freely and all is good, but when I place it on the ground, a terrible noise, like it's slipping
I've pulled the diff apart a couple of times and rebuild following the manual, with the only change to remove the shims to free it up even more. I'm running 80wt oil in it as our track is low grip asphalt.
can a gear diff slip?. I didn't think it could. What should I be looking at to solve the issue. appreciate any thoughts

Hey guys I need some help!
I'm trying to set rear ride height and droop but having issues when setting droop.
The droop seems to be lowering ride height every time I do it.
I set rear ride to 6mm then set droop to 8 but when I check ride height it at 4.5mm
I'm lost with this big time

Solution was to increase preload of the springs on the dampers.

So u recommend setting more preload?
Also setup the new 3 racing carbon fibre chassis, and not happy, it has a twist in it .
But before complaining about it any further I might rebuild the car AGAIN on the c/f chassis and make sure it's not because some thing is straight/ even or the alike
