I have not used the shimzu tires but I love the hpi bridgestones. I have used the softs and mediums and they all work well but the medium fronts act like a medium hard tire. Maybe I need to break them in more to get them to soften up a little.

I have not tried those. The d compound will be a medium to medium hard compound. They will take a few laps to warm up. This is the same compound the vta tires are made from. My vta tires are not as soft as the hpi medium bridgestones.

The Rides tires fit the HPI or FGX rims. The package I had even says something about Formula 10 on it.

Anyone out there got a solution to the flimsey front wheel bearings ?

Love the car except them damm 8x5mm flappers..........

The bearings are the only things on the front that I haven't broke. Maybe I should take a look

I destroyed a pair , whilst running alloy knuckles . The bearings were the new weak link.

Its not the bearings its the plastic hexes. They wear out very quick and press into the bearing instead of the pin. Had this problem on the fgx and the zero s. Get some aluminium hexes and you will quit blowing bearings.

I just got some hexes for my zero. Tried to swap to the FGX but didn't seem to fit. I have the aluminium steering blocks, guess I'll stock up on bearings.

I'm using Corally hexes with alloy knuckles. The bearings flap around just as badly as the plastic because it's the axle that's 3 thou smaller than the ID of bearing !! Still pissy bearings of that size. I went thru a period of massive traction rolls that managed to pull the axle right thru the inside bearing turning my car into a tripod. Not so very good.
