I see you listed soft Shimizu rears, is that by default, I can only find 1 shimizu rear and it does not say med/soft or other

You right.
Shimizu Racing:
  • PS-0565 Soft
  • PS-0563 Medium
  • PS-0561 Soft

You need the PS-0561 and PS-0565.

Just by default. They are the ones listed at TQ. I assume they are soft.

Same here. My results are a bit different. Racer Robert is beating F103s, Im beating the boards. Not the cars fault, I saved money on my driver.

Hi guys

I'm looking at getting one of these cars, really want to drive an F1 with IRS, but I want to know how they go. What are they like compared with F104s? Are they cheap (quality wise...) strong? fast? handle well? Just want to know as much as possible.

Cheers

best bet is to read the thread, the FGX came out in October so skip to about then to read the good stuff. Short version though, its a great car, hooks up really well. But the front end is fragile and is being reworked. New tougher suspension arms are being released. There is a link front end work around that several of us have used, also reinforcing the arms with cf is really working well too. They handle very well and are easy to drive. With the optional fast gear set, they are fast. Very competitive with F104s and F103s. I would say get one, read the thread, follow the tips from the guys that have them and you will love the car. I have no doubt.

Yes, they have only one compound for rear, it's soft.

It will be in stock early next week.

Thanks.

I'm curious as well, I bought an extra diff that I plan on building, using a little black grease instead of diff fluid. I am running on carpet, not asphalt.

After reading this thread and talking with texastc I've decided to buy one of these kits, only problem is finding them in stock. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jim

Right know I am liking 7000wt losi diff oil. Seems a bit lighter than want came in the kit, helps in the tight infield at my track

You may want to wait for the new kit coming out with the Rev 2 upper and lower front arms. Should be the next batch of kits they get at TQ.
