FYI, at the moment it looks funny, but the gap is very even and the diff is not leaking. The cover is a little dimpled where the screws pull down at each screw head. I did not seat them fully as I didn't want the screw head to pull through the plastic or distort the cover too badly. I'll post pics later.

Hi, what is the weight fully loaded? Trying to understand if it is weight or IRS that adds to the stability. I also want to buy one but none in my country. Thanks.

Sorry, didn't read every post here, but I was wondering what the deal was on wheels / tires. Same as Current Tamiya f1's or something else? Thanks.
I bought an F109 that I have yet to run. With this car having been released, it may be sold before it ever does. I can see the move away from direct drive being a nice benefit on less than perfect surfaces, especially outdoors.

48 to 64 Conversion
I just got some more gears to make another version and it should be a bit easier to make. The goal is to modify the 24 tooth/48 pitch gear and be able to use commonly available 64 pitch pinions. I think I can do it but I need to get some solid, as opposed to lightened, gears or pinion stock.
I'm sure some one like Robinson can come up with something pretty easily.
My problem is that there are no F1's being run within a reasonable distance so It's hard to see what's what. I'll have to see if I can get the guys to let me run in USVTA ;-)
Here's a couple of pix, I'll share ideas if anyone wants to see what I've got in mind.

Thank you Marcos. I was tired of that person "hijacking" this thread.
