Thank you, Spring. I was about to give up on this chassis.

with 12mm hexes and the IFS, this might be a fun car to bash around with a 190mm or 200mm body with TC wheels (31mm wide, 6mm offset TC wheels with treaded tires?).

I think this is the coolest thing I was attending to

I just have a few questions:

-how do you fix the center shaft? I know you use the front & rear bulkhead cover set for Sakura D3, but how do you make it maintain in the rear bulkhead? Is it still possible to use aluminium rear bulkhead if I do this conversion?

How the car handle in comparison to the original transmission?

Best regards and once again awesome job,
G-rem

1. Cut the stock rear bulkhead cover to make clearance from the gear diff.

2. Cut and drill 3mm hole on D3 bearing holder (center part in the part tree), must be same position on both holders

3. Remove the rear upper arm and put set screw to the first hole of rear bulkhead.

4. Twist down the D3 bearing holder to the set screw on the rear bulkhead .

5. Put Graphite piece for rear upper linkage in stead of using stock rear upper a arm.

6. Cut Aluminum rear bulkhead and put it reverse, and move the shock mount back about 10mm.

7. Put 2mm shims behind the spur gear holder to get the clearance from the motor mount.

Default Finally!

Many thanks for the additional pictures and part numbers. That will save those of us interested in upgrading this car a TON of time. I see one of the parts is out of stock @ TQ I hope it's on order.

Can someone tell me if it's possible to fit the Tamiya F60 body and F2012 body on the FGX without cutting almost all the rear of the body?

And do you know a scale rear diffusor that fit on the FGX?

Thanks for answering,
G-rem

Good day, G-rem.

I have a Tamiya F1 body fitted to the FGX and here's the photo reference:

I have tested different rear diffusers too. I will just recall the brand since I am way to focused on TC class these days.

Photo reference regarding rear diffuser:

Cheers!

Thank you very much Josecarlo, I had already seen your pics and I was waiting for an answer of you

Can you, if it's possible, take a picture of the rear painted F2012 body because on the pics above, I can't see very well how it's cut.

Best regard,
G-rem
