Hi Awjs,
On the 2nd pictures, It looks like the weak point of the upper deck has been reinforced.
Does feel stiffer than the previous version?

Are the front dampers piston-type, or spooge-tube, or???

There are friction dampers not oil, most likely oil will be an option part

Hello all,
I just tested a little trick to limit the play between the front axles and the bearings.
I have put some nail polish from my wife on the axles then let it dry then squeeze the axles back in the Knuckle Arms.
Now the axles fit a lot better in the bearings with very limited play.
I just hope this trick gonna last more than one run.

Cheers

Default FGX wheel modification for the F104 Shimizu Racing (PS-0572) or Tamiya (1032)

Here are the instructions how to modify the FGX wheel for the F104 Shimizu or new Tamiya 1032 tire.

Default Thank You Troy McKune ..

Just installed my McKune upper deck on my stock FGX chassis . sweeeeeet, except for one complaint, it doesn't quite fit the metal caster plate. it's okay though i put the stock plate back in and it fit like a glove . can't wait to run it this weekend .

took the 540-J out of my TB-03 box and replaced the Yeah Racing 10T BL system . i think i may finally be able to run it without massive wheel spin . now i'm ordering the titanium front axels as per recommended above . i can feel myself starting on the path of loving this ride ..

thanks again Troy, hope you'll make an upper deck for the FGX when the IFS is released . with the ease of installing this deck i hope you un-retire the design for the new suspension system .

HPI 2 speed? Interesting. Rear belt looks too loose though.
