All you can do is pre thread the holes with a quality socket head cap screw, like a motor screw and some grease. I've found that actually tapping the hole takes out too much material and makes it easy to strip the threaded hole.
Have the same problem, too. And mine was shipped with only 1 of 2 shafts for the motor gears.

Seems like they have some quality problems with the kit.

The carbon rear arms are not in the kit but will be coming out soon.

The screws and turnbuckles in the kit are horrible. The titanium 3Racing replacements turnbuckles are good. As far as screws, honestly do yourself a favor and spend $30 at Mcmaster Carr. You can usually get a box of 100 for $5.00 each. You will nearly spend the same buying them 6 or 10 from a hobby store.

Hey guys I had my first race with the fgx today and nailed it!!
The 3 qualifiers i did were average, but then i changed my car setup and the thing was absolutely dialed.I claimed fastest lap of they day.

Just need some help on front droop and ride height.
How do i adjust these on the front end?

Cheers

Trying to decide on livery for the FGX, and am wondering if the decal sheets designed for the F60 body fit the kit body ok?

Troy is right about the screws, but a little trick I learned was I put the screw on the allen whrench and then pushed it hard into my workbench... the screws have some type of coating on them and when you push hard with my 2.0mm allen it scraped off the coating and the allen drops down into the screw... huge difference....

Put a few drops of oil in all screw holes, that pretty much solves it all!

it doesn't matter who makes the kit -- buying replacement screws from mcmaster or similar always makes sense.

Yea, I had a piece of the wing missing from my parts kit. So I guess that means I have to just buy the wing replacement parts?

ride height you use spacers above and below spindle on kingpin. To lower put more on top, to raise put more on bottom
