Hey all.... Finally had some time over the weekend to finish off modding the JRX-S for the YR3200 lipos that I have.
Hardest work was grinding the aluminium center bulkheads for the depth and the curvature of the battery case, and making sure it was centralised. I pulled them off the chassis to dremel them and re-fitted it each time to check. Painstaking, but results are good.
Rear plastic bulkheads just needed a little dremelling, and it was nice and easy for a change. I have retained the use of the battery tray. The tray will need quite a bit of work to make it conform to the shape of the lipo pack. Again, patience goes quite a long way here.
The power leads on the Yeah Racing 3200 Lipos run under the rear diff tube, and have heaps of clearance. Don't mind the lead weights... With a body and PTX, it weighs 1505g (yes... 200g of that is lead). Balance is pretty close on to 50% Front/Rear & Left/Right. Will be giving it a test this coming club night to see how she goes!!!

As far as we know Losi are not developing anything further for 1/10TC but they do however still support their chassis very well with parts. An ozzy here is developing new aftermarket parts for the Type R to fix some of its short falls and improve the chassis in general. He is looking at a complete new chassis layout to further improve the chassis for brushless/lipo so in that way it is still getting better.

It's a bit of a Bugger that Losi are not developing anything further for 1/10 TC.................
