Lipo does not fit in this car unless you modify the bulkheads or take the cells out of the hardcase. Neither of which is recommended. If you want to run just Lipo, wait for the new car to come out for it is equipped to handle Lipo.

BTW--As soon as I get Yeti's Body painted I will send it with my one-way diff for you to try. If you guys are running rubber tires on carpet then you really should be using the front one-way. Good Luck!

Default Mike Haynes Rubber setup Help

Hey Mike I love this setup I got from you on here a while back. The car is balanced perfect, feels great. On a lower bite track what would you think to change for more overall grip without changing the balanced feel I have now? Maybe go from high roll centers to low? Thanks!

I would say to leave the roll centers alone, i never had much luck with low on rubber tire with my car....you could try to run 1 rate softer spring all around (15/10) and see how that goes, or possibly a bit more droop....maybe both.

Not unless you want to seriously mod the car to get it to work. If you want to do Lipo and run Losi, just wait on the new car. It is made to except Lipo packs and the special tray for them will be included in the kit.

my little aluminum a-arm braces worked pretty good today. i practiced for a few hours today and did some "stress testing" of the front end. nothing broke.

on a side note, i also think i found why my car wasn't handling so hot. i pulled a n00b move and basically hadn't done anything with my shocks since about june of last year . i put the car on my tweak station and it was all out of whack. i drained and re-filed the shocks, no other chassis changes, and the tweak was dead on afterward.

what's even worse is i've experienced the EXACT same thing with my xxx-s after long periods of not running it.

nope theres no way unless you mod the car and the lipo the bulkheads cover the holes to were the wires go so you would have to drill holes for the wires to hook into the batt. from the front to much work for me and im not afraid to use a dremel
if you want to run lipo get the maxx amp 4000 it will fit in the car with no mods, but it does not have a hard case and some tracks will only let you run with cased lipo's like the 4800 and the 3200
