I dont know why everyone is running the front roll center higher than the rear on this car. It seems to me that it causes the front to plow around. I tried some oddball stuff this past weekend, but the one thing i did like was a higher rear roll center. It seemed to make the front end roll before the rear and inturn gave the car a more positive feel.
On rubber tires though, im not sure you would need that much dive.. and may be better off with same height RC all around..
Have you tried low roll centers on rubbers? what was the result?
and finally... DUDE 3 degrees rear toe???? (jk)... seriously though.. i dont think i have EVER run more than 1.5 degrees... that is what i would start with.. along with adding .5 degree of toe out in front..
keep in mind.. i have all of two race experiences with this car on rubber.. from last summer and granted, the car was dialed both times and won.. i dont rememebr what i was running... and about a month of carpet... (since december) so i am still learning.

Have to run three degrees rear toe in as the track was cold, damp and with not to much grip. Forgot to say I was using pits D20 wets. Would making the front end a bit softer help?
Thanks
Also thanks to everyone elsewho has helped.

if your allready running 25/20 for springs.. softening up the front is probably not wise... try running the shock all the way in on the tower... and lower the front roll center.. it should definately dive more with that...

Ok, i need to ask a pretty objective question. I currently have an XXX-S with the stiffzel (sp?) chassis that is about 5 years old. I am getting back into the hobby and I am not sure if it is worth it to upgrade at this point. I will be doing some racing, but just at the local level and don't plan on doing much more than that.
I was thinking of putting some money into the xxx-s to make it a little more competitive, probably all in all about $100. do you think it is worth it to spend the $300 or so on a JRX-S and just use the xxx-s when someone else comes with me or just stick with the XXX-S and wait for something else down the line. THough I can't say first hand, i've heard that many people aren't happy with the JRX-S and that Losi should be coming out with something else soon (i've been partial to Losi cars, so i'll be driving one no matter what).
Any thoughts/opinions would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!!

you can always get a used XXXS graphite plus pretty cheap and it has upgraded parts that the older XXXS doesnt have if you like the older Losi cars...you can use alot of the parts from your old car as spares
the XXXS is still a very competitive car
