i usually sawp tire compound in the rear or try the same tire with a slightly different insert b4 i actually adjust the car. usually the tires swap will do the trick but in some cases when it won't then i go back to my default tire and mess with spring and ride height, toe.

Generally my car is always set up for when the track has bite, and just fight it being loose until that traction comes up.

Hey guys.
Just had my first race weekend with my new JRX-S (thanks to 5thscaleracer!) Just a couple of quick questions, is it normal for yu to have to run the shock coller lower on one side of the car to gain level ride height? I can only out this down to the offset diffs, is this right or is there a shock problem i need to address? Also, on the front, i can only get ride height down to 6mm unless i increase droop. Any ideas how to overcome this?
Any help greatly appreciated!

Hey all..

So I'm sure ya'll have figured out the secret to battery fitment in this car...can you spread the knowledge?

I'm still just using 3300 packs, I've filed the rear battery slot so the rearmost cell sits down far enough in the chassis, but it still seems that when I put the pack all the way in, the cells don't match up with the battery tray, and the front part of the battery is still binding against the middle bulkhead. I'd rather not start grinding on the diff housing if possible, but I'm about to start...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!~

If youre using the extra layers of shrink wrap you may want to use the Alum batt tray. I use it for my 3300's and 3800's. Mine fits fine with the extra lenth gained from the shrink wrap.

Thanks Rob... after looking at my packs, I think that is the prob. Each cell has two layers of shrink wrap.

...now, to try and find an aluminum batt tray locally!

Sounds like you have tweak in the chassis which is common when first building the kit. The top plate doesn't quite line up perfectly. The cure seems to be to remove a bit of material from the hole to allow them to line up the top plate without tweaking the chassis. It could also be the shock lenths are not the same, but if it is very noticeable then it's probably not that. Take the wheels off and set it on a very flat surface and see if when you push down on any corner of the car if it rocks up on the other side. If so remove the top plate and try it again and see if it doesn't, lay the top plate back on and see if the alignment pin holes line up. I not saying this is your problem, but I had a similar thing happen with mine.
