Guys take a look at pic 7 on this link http://tqhobbies.com/iic2.htm , there's a pretty good pic of a JRX-S whith the motor behind the batteries, is that a new JRX-S? Is it a production car?

POOKYT,
Thanks for the advice. I was looking at switching to Numan's setup, however, since the track I run at is extremely tight, I didn't want to run the spool. Would running the setup without a spool dramatically change the handling from good to bad? Thanks again!

Bro, don't be scared of the spool!!!! His set-up is designed around the spool. With the Numan set-up over stock I was 3 tenths per lap quicker. My home track is normally 50X100. And we usually have atleast 3 if not 4 180 deg. turns on it.

A question for you guys. When you are talking the length of the shocks. Are you talking about from the top of the shock to the bottom of the rod end. Or by the Losi shock tool or where the screws attach the shock to the mounting holes. Also is it measure fully extended?

thanx in advance

Measure shock lenth from the overall outside dimensions. Measure between the red chevrons, with the shock fully extended, hope this makes sense.

Default o-rings

Hey guys,

Can someone explain about the "2 white o rings" or "2 red losi o-rings" above bladder in Josh Numans set. I dont quite understand do these sit in the shock top cap??? What does this actually do??? and can some one give me a part number for these??

Thanks,
Gareth

Gareth,

They assist in re-bounding the shock when compressed. Thats all I know. ,

Different types (white/red O-rings, Red foam spacers) creating different effects.

This will probably sound like a really dumb question...but what are these new arms I am hearing about?

Several months ago, Brain Kinwald added small brackets to all the bottom shock ballends. They raised and pushed the mounting point of the shock further out toward the wheel on the suspension arm. It makes the car more consistent. As the modification (known as "BK Brackets") has been so successful, Team Losi are planning on producing them moulded into the original arms.

Hope this explains it properly.....

The white ones are the same as in your kit. part# A5326 for the rebuild kit. The red ones are Associated O-rings part# 5407

Hope this helps Gareth

Default LRP V7.1 esc

I am thinking of moving to a LRP V7.1 esc from a GM SX-9 which smoked this past week. HAs anyone tried this esc in the JrXs and if so, how did it fit? Did it require any counterweights?

Thanks
