You don't need sway bars for asphalt racing. I believe Numan didn't use any on his Reedy ROC setup. Mount the ESC on the bottom plate to the left of the battery.

Look at the suggested layout picture on the Losi website.

Randy I have run it on one low bite asphalt track and 6 times on our normal med. bite track. It to me feels great on the low to med. bite surfaces. I have had to tune more for when the traction comes up to free the car up. Hope this helps

papdocks, you like it better with the weight of the ESC on the lower chassis plate.

I like the Numan set up on every track i've been to so far. It has good steering, better corner speed and is easy to drive fast. I use my dual rate to adjust steering feel for different tracks more then changing the suspension, but of course on some tracks a big difference comes from droop, camber settings and ride height. The rest of the adjustments stay put pretty much.

For lower traction add some droop and ride height, for high bite, run a little less ride height and less droop to add response.............Jim

I just need a base setup for those outdoor tracks, havent had the chance to drive Josh's car outdoors, only a couple laps at SoCal when it was stock I think, still had a front diff, really impressive handling though. After seeing how much steering BK always has I cant wait to try out that setup as well.

Got the Hitec race coming up at the end of the month, and that is a low bite parking lot surface, I'm sure BK and Steve will be there for the setup help, and last I talked to Josh he wanted to go as well.

Randy, the spool made all the difference in the world for me, so if his car felt decent with the diff, should be cool.

All those guys will get you hoooked up, Hodgimotosan too!...........Jim
