Thanks, once I get the blocks on the car, I'll know for sure, but it seems that the right block has more caster in it... Which side had more caster for you?

Default Dynamite hexes

This is what I did to be able to use the Dynamite aluminum hexes on my car.

1-drilled out the pin holes to 0.067" with a numbered bit. This size is perfect. Pin slides through easily-but with no detectable slop.

2-sanded the backside of the hexes used in front so hole in hex and axle line up.

Its all good now ,
Ray
p.s. thanks Pookyt

For me, it was the left side. Basically, I got two 1 degree LEFT side rear hubs in my kit marked as "0 deg".

Todd Hodge gave me some of the newest 0 degree hubs which have a small "TL" printed above the "0 deg" indicator. These were perfect, but may not be in great distribution yet.

Contact Team Losi for replacements.

Drop me a email with your address and I will send it out today.

How are you guys using XXX-S rear hubs? I had a set of 1 degree offset huds for a XXX-S but they are wider than the hubs on my JRXS. Luckily I got my new 0 degree hubs from Todd Hodge today and they work great.

The rear hubs are the same. The are also the same with the exception that some material has been removed to allow for maximum steering throw.

DJG24, all the XXX-S hubs work fine. The ones you had that were offset are for foam tires on carpet and mount in the inner holes on the arm. The stock hubs on the JRXS are not offset, mount in the outer holes on the arm and are for asphalt or rubber tires on carpet. Both hubs fit, you just need to pick which one you need for your application.

Default Rear Hubs

Todd,

Do you have a part number for the O* rear hubs and when will they be available. I would like to get a spare set.

Thanks

With the discussion of the offset vs. standard rear hubs, I just wanted to say that the offset hubs can be used for things other that carpet/foam set ups. I used the offset hubs on my old XXX-S this winter running stock rubber on carpet, and they worked great on the car. The offset hubs free up the rear end of the car, making it more aggressive. Useful in any kind of high traction situation.
