I noticed that the threads were cut, which is why it seemed so strange that I couldn't thread the grub screw in further. I was concerned about stripping the head on the grub screw, so I didn't press the issue.

I guess I can go back and try it the next time I'm thinking of running the thinnest bar.

Darkseid- Swaybars: 0.030, 0.040, 0.050. 0.060...if you look closely on the molded sway bar mounts, you will see the sizes listed.

Default Swaybars... and hubs..

Anyone know where I can get the swaybars/mounts??..

Also, i happened to be looking at the LHS yesterday and the JRX-S rear hubs 'appear' to be the same as the XXX-S rear hubs.. Is this true?.. can XXX-S hubs (front and rear) fit the JRX-S ??

YOu can make your own sway bar by rebending an old xxxs sway bar and using the XXXS sway bar mounts (grey plastic ones). I also made my own mounts from TC3 sway bar mounts, threaded rod and any 4-40 ball-cup.

And yes-the old XXXS rear hubs-both the standard and offset work perfectly on the JRXS. At some point they added a lot of material around the bottom hingepin mount which has made them a LOT stronger.

This is true, but on the front hubs you will need to do some dremmel work to open up the hole so that the lcd's don't rub. I just ground my G+ 6* hubs this past weekend. It's easy.

Yeah, I saw those, but because the numbers are put right next to each other, and not "top" and "bottom" next to the corresponding sway bar slot, it still left me guessing. Mainly, I've been using metric cars for so long, I only see in mm! So I know when I see a 1.2mm sway bar, that its thicker than a 1mm sway bar. So because I usually don't use it, all this .030 and .060 threw me as to what was thickest.

So going by your listing, the 0.030 is the thinnest going all way up to the 0.060 which is the thickest. I thought that was the way it went, but just wanted to be sure before I started marking stuff on setup sheets.

Thanks

Darkseid, you probably already know this but if you don't then hear goes. The .030, .040, .050, and .060, are imperial thousands of an inch, so .030 is "30 thousands of an inch" is the thinest to "60 thousands of an inch" that is the thickest.

Peter

Yeah, learned that back in school. But that was quite a while ago! The more I thought about it, the more obvious it became, but I figured I would get some confirmation, just to be sure.

I have more adapters on order. I think there are two left right now. They went FAST!!! I put mine on the losi I have here. It was hard to get on the shaft but once on there it came off ok. I think they didnt take into account the thickness of the anadize. But it spins TRUE. No wobble with these babies.

I will be gone to the Reedy race. I will have some with me if anyone there needs more. Im having my order shipped out there.

Thanks
EA
