Anything apart from the E10. Personally, I'd look for a second hand touring car, something like a Cyclone TC or TRF416.

i was lookin into the same thing and after doing some research a lot of people are saying the TA-05 is set up pretty good for it so I bought a couple chassis to build up a few cars. I have enough parts to build up a 2nd or 3rd rolling chassis with a lot of upgrades if you're interested.

Other than the TA-05 which i hear people say is a lot better than the 01 for drifting as it's sturdier, I was lookin into buying a TC5 or sprint 2 sport drift as it's RTR out of the box, just not very fast, but with the drift box you can add on later, just that and a esc and motor upgrade and your sitting pretty

anyways, that's just my 2 cents, i'm still new but hit me up once you get a car and we can do a small parking lot drift meet up, wanna get a group of drifters together for a change

With drifting, it's more about the aesthetics of the car with the body on...because almost any 4wd touring car, whether it's a $400+ Xray or a used $50 TC3, can be equally good drifters with just a set of drift tires. Also, if you choose to use electronic drift assist, skip the HPI D-Box and the Futaba G190. Just get the Eurgle gyro which is only $11. So it really comes down to visual mods that enhance the aesthetics of the car.
