Default Which Cell Zapper?

Hi,

I'm looking for some advice from people who know more than me about battery zappers.

Basically I just bought a heap of new GP3300 cells, and I want to purchase a zapper to increase voltage and decrease internal resistance on these cells.

I have narrowed it down to 2 models that fall within my price range :

1) Integy/Xipp DCX3300 Xapper

http://integy.automated-shops.com/cg...07104339789.22

and

2) Apex 60000uF Zapper

http://www.apexhk.com/zapper.html

There seem to be NO specs available on the Integy Xapper at all - and very little more on the Apex model (although at least it tells you how big the capacitor is).

My question is simple : Which of these zappers is going to give me the best results with GP3300 cells? I am leaning towards the Apex product, simply because I can order it from my normal overseas supplier, and also I have been impressed with some of their other products.

And the other thing is the Integy Xapper says it is for "maintenance zapping only" - what does this mean? A couple people I spoke to think it's integy marketing crap, and that it's just them trying to get you to buy their bigger (more expensive) zapper, the 3000.

Anyone who can give any good help or advice would be really appreciated!

Thank you for your help!

maintenance zapping means it meant to zap the cells once they been used....its not designed to be used a raw cell zapper, like the batteries companies use.

Really the difference between the two is a Ford vs. Chevy......both are quality units. I do think you would have an easier time getting the Integy unit serviced, since Apex is a European company with no US outlets that I know of.
