Hey Noob,

I haven't really heard of any fixes like that for the aluminum shocks... I was always under the impression that they were going to release some shorter shock bodied aluminum shocks for the 008 since I have seen them in testing for a while now.

So i put the new shorter shaft in from the 008 and still to long, I have heard of somebody has cut the top of the shocks down, have you heard of this?
Or otherwise have you heard of any other way to do it.
cheers!

Have we lost you forever from Live and COD4? You must be getting ready for RB6 2.

Steve,

If you had to choose a style of facial hair to rock out with: 'tache, goatee or neckbeard?

Hi Steve

I have a Novak 13.5 motor with serial number SM01978 and just wanted to see if this was a bonded or sintered rotor as the packaging and instructions dont say anything. The part number is #3413. I've spun it and it doesnt feel as tight as a stock.

Cheers
Adrian

Adrian,

the 3413 is the 13.5 pro which should come with the sintered rotor. It will not feel as coggy as a brushed motor but it is significantly stronger than the bonded rotor.

You can always take the front end bell off and check out the rotor for yourself... the Sintered rotor is silver/chrome looking.

The bonded rotor should be a flat black or grey finish.

Steve,

What's the world coming to when a guy starts a thread complaining about having 15 girlfriends in the past 3 years? I mean really now, is he bragging? Or is it a cover for something else all together?

I think it's a cover for the fact that the guy's a softie and really wants to settle down with his RC soul mate

Steve -

Now that the 17.5 has been approved by ROAR as the brushless "stock" motor, is Novak going to update the recommended gearing chart on the Novak Tech support pages? There isn't any recommended FDRs for anything milder than the 13.5.
