Hi Steve,

Just want to ask if the EX Motor bonded rotors still available. Or can I just
shave a sintered rotor to decrease its diameter so I can produce more
rpm in exchange for more heat? This is for drag applications so Im not
getting my BL motors hot. Sintered rotor seemed hard to turn, I want to
lessen its magnetisity.

We have this listed as available through our online hobby shop:

I really would recommend going to sintered rotors though...even though you really aren't running the motor long enough for heating to be a big factor, the sintered rotors create more torque than the bonded rotors do and I would think that would be better for drag racing!

Steve. THANK YOU and Novak Electronics for your support of the Florida State Series. Novak is the title sponsor of the 17.5 class again this year.

Thanks again and will see you at the bird's.

I am wondering about the 4cell GTB with 1s lipo, if I use a 7.4v rx pack will that be to much voltage for the servo and the other electronics i.e. rx and pt? Maybe you have some profile info for me also using it in a wgt chassis. I only started to make changes in my 4cell this evening. I have never messed with any profile settings at all.....LOL

Thanks,
Chris Totcky

Its a great marketing opportunity (especially for upcoming GTB replacement ESC hint hint).

Anyways, I was wondering if this was ever going to come to frution anytime soon? I heard OC Circuit was supposed to host it but it eventually faded to a whisp of a memory. An enduro on asphalt sounds awesome, would be nice to see this come back into the picture. Any words?

I will try to ask around and see if we'd be interested in spear heading something like this right now!

Did you ever make any headway with that, Mr.Steve?

The excess voltage can sometimes cause trouble with your electronics...but it's hard to say if it will damage them... sometime they hold up, sometimes they don't... it's safest to use a regulator to bring the voltage down to 6.0 V

Default World GT Gearing

Hi Steve,

What are your Rollout recommendations using a GTB with 13.5 and a 1 cell LiPo for World GT?

Any recommended timing adjustments?

Also, any recommendation for 12th scale GTB 10.5 w/ 1 cell LiPo?

Thanks

I don't have a ton of experience with World GT but I would start out with around a 2.56"/65 mm.

For 10.5 1/12 I would gear 2.30"/58 mm

BullFrog

I saw at the local shop, the Novak Havoc 1S 10.5 is due in Oct 28th. I too am looking for one for the 12th scaler.

To answer the question above, GTB not 4 cell on the World GT but I do run the GTB 4 Cell 13.5 12th scaler.

Thanks Steve
