Walter,

Who did you hear that from??

The GTB is the same GTB as what gets sold with the 3.5... you should not need an update to run that motor!

sorry for asking stupid question... i was wondering is there photo to show different between sintered rotor and non sintered?

why i ask its because i have 1 gtb set and dunno if its sintered rotor..

i am kind of a NOVAK guy, cos i like novak, i currently have GTX,GT7,GTB, recently i was told that novak no longer service individual customer is that true? its because i might wan to get my GTX service, as the set up button some time will jam, can that be service??? send to where??

They still service stuff as far as I know. You could try taking the case apart and see if the button is either broken or some dirt is possibly in there. The button you push from the outside is just a peice of plastic that is part of the case, the actual button is on the board. GTX's are not that hard to get apart. I have replaced cases on mine a few times and keep some on hand.

Edwintklee,

There are no stupid questions! Don't feel afraid to ask anything!

I dunno where all these weird rumors are getting spread from... I wonder if they're coming from our competitors or something

But to answer your question about service... yes for domestic customers we are still continuing to take returns from individuals and I don't see that changing anytime in the near future.

We prefer to work directly with the customers because 1.) it allows us to get a better understanding of what might have happened and 2.) it allows us to educate the customer if there is any misunderstanding or mis-use of the product going on.

The problem with your GTX button might be related to the case part of the button or the actual momentary switch inside on the PCB... you can send it in to us with a note describing the problem and we will be happy to help you out with it!

Instructions on sending a product back for repair are here:

http://www.teamnovak.com/cs/index.html

There are some instances with over-seas customers where we require you to deal directly with your region's distributors in order to return the item.

You can always call our customer service department and have them help you figure out which course you should go!

This link is the product page for a sintered rotor... you can get a good look at it there:

http://www.shopatron.com/product/pro...=NOV5908/135.0

This is a product page with a picture of the standard bonded rotor:

http://www.shopatron.com/product/pro...95.17447.0.0.0

The color of the magnet on this particular rotor is grey...but all of the latest ones are black.

Cool, that's what I wanted to hear. Someone at the track told me that but I don't want to name any names, just wanted to make sure. Thanks
