Oh man.....page three, not good, not good, do some of that pilot stuff Mav......
Sung to the tune of "Superfreak"
He's a very Elvis guy,
And he runs a small number brushless motor
And he always makes the "A",
Cause' that's where he's suppose to be....
He's the Super Steve, Super Steve,
He's very Stevie.....

Hey....since I ran 8th scale off road last weekend (for the very first time), maybe I can go to BCR this weekend and run 12th scale on road (for the very first time). Who else wants to run!?
(BTW- I am not ashamed to say that I had fun running nitro. Donnie and John were there and I think they also had fun!)

Steve - I am new to the brushless thing and I just installed a GTB into a car. Looking at the speedo, is there any visual indication such as an LED that would differentiate between brushless mode vs brushed mode? I have set it up per the instructions and the only difference in setup appears to be the connection of the 6-wire harness in the last step. Also, are the green LEDs supposed to continually blink at neutral in step 8? Mine blink for awhile but stop before I get time to plug in the 6-wire harness. The motor seems to work but I just wanted to run it past you first.
Comparing the steps to switch between the brushless and beushed mode, isnt the mode the same but rather the throttle profile is different? What BL mode do you run for 19T sedan and mod sedan?

Tony,
Brushed and brushless mode stuff can be a little tricky at times if you're not prepared for it.
The very first thing you need to do is do a one touch setup for your ESC.
Press and hold the button, turn the esc on, wait for the red LED to come on, then pull full throttle.
When the green LED comes on go full brake.
When the green LED blinks return the trigger to neutral.
When you do this this reverts the ESC back to factory default settings, which in the case of the GTB, is for brushless opperation.
If you do not have a motor sensor harness plugged into the ESC you will more than likely see the error code I think you were describing, which is a solid red LED with a blinking green LED next to it. This simply means that the ESC doesn't see a sensor harness plugged in.
If you have a brushless motor plugged in at neutral you should normally see a red, blue, and amber LEDs lit simultaneously.
Next step, go to brushed mode:
Turn the Esc back off.
Press and hold the setup button, and turn the ESC on... wait THROUGH the red LED...you should then see the red AND blue LED come on at the same time.
At this point release the button, the LEDs will blink simultaneously 9 times. On a 10th blink they will stay on for a second or two... durring this 10th "blink" press the setup button again.
You should see a bit of a light show but once it's all said and done you should see a red LED and a blue LED on at neutral.
Hope this helps dude!
