I just read the whole thread, and I realized I still own two of my most favorite cars since the late 80s...
A Parma 12, which I raced quite successfully back then, finishing one year in 2nd place in the Greek outdoor 1/12 Champs!
This car was a graphite version (there was also a glassfiber one), but most racers preferred the "softer" front "axle" made of glassfiber, instead of the more solid carbon. The rear axle is *I think* from a period Associated 12, in carbon and was always loosening the wheel nut! Frustrating, indeed!

Then there's a car that curiously has not been mentioned at all in this thread:
The Bolink Eliminator 12!
Unfortunately I didn't race this car a lot because somehow I always managed to break the front axle!!! You can see a piece missing on the right side, while on the left side I had temporarily fixed it with a glassfiber piece... Also of notice is the top battery brace. This was the era when a Trinity 17X5 (I still have that thing in quite a good running order!) brushed was ballistic and 6-cell 1700 SCE nicads were the top spec batteries!).
The body is also made by Bolink and was painted by my old friend Tolis, in 1993. I know the date because he wrote it on the body with a marker and then painted over it!!!!
Oh, and I still have the original "manual"!!!!
Fond memories, indeed!
Sadly there's no more 1/12 interest in Greece, but even so it would be quite hard to race either car with a brushless setup and 1S batteries...

And no... they are not up for sale, thank you!!!

I was racing 1/12 stock with RC12L and 1/12 mod with SP12-G2. Anyone recall the Maxtec modified motor? Maxtec was also the distributor for Tenth Technology who made the Predator buggy and touring car.

Also no mention of the Bolink Bandito.

BBR Lotec, those were cool. They handled well also, to bad they are not available anymore, that body had room for the electronics.

Hey V12, I raced a number of Delta cars and I don't remember that front end set up. That's not a Delta part is it?

Looks like the Raco front end with an upper cross brace added.

You can order a Lotec from Frewer, the shape is a little different but one of the better looking bodies out there.

Frewer has had some issues with his site for a long time, and a few bodies are no longer available. If you are looking for vintage bodies d-drive had a TOJ in 1/12 on their site and McAllister still has many available.

Yes, itīs even not a Delta car. Just the complete rear end is from the Spyder. If you look closely at the chassis you will notice this also looks different to any Delta chassis. Even the t-bar is different using blue fibreglass and different shape.

InspGadgt is right this is a RaceCo car but the frontbrace is original just newer version.
Yes the frontend looks very similar to a 1/10th Lucas Agitator.
