There were some slight differences in the way the rear of the chassis was cut out (for more rear bite) There might be other differences.

As many of you may, or may not know by now.
Mike Reedy passed away today.

This seems like such a fitting tribute picture to post as such.

Thanks to Kent Clausen for finding that.

Cool.

Kent moved to HPI during mid 90's I recall.

The old magazine had a picture of Kent and Cliff with rc10L oval chassis, the body was the tide nascar body I recall, lol it was so long ago.

Superspeed, I have a Corally Museum of 1/12 scale starting with the SP-1 and going on to the SP-12M. I stopped collecting after that.

The only Corally designed 1/12 that I have been told came to the US before that was a car that was imported by Schumaker and I think had a Schumaker name and identification. I also have some 1/10 scale Corally chassis.

I don't think Schumacher ever imported Corally cars or parts into the US. The original importer was Dumor R/C or something like that (that spelling looks wrong to me) anyways they used to do spur gears that were pretty good, they had a tapered tooth profile. They imported the cars for several years and then went out of business. Someone can correct me if i'm wrong.

Du-Mor spurs were used on a few Yokomo cars as well, if I recall correctly.

dumor, owned by Bob Duffy or at least run by Bob at that time.

And HOLY CRAP. I looked at an old rolodex card we have here. Other than the area code, they still have the same phone number they had in 87 or whenever it was we started carrying their stuff. That's kinda cool.

Johnny Wishbone, human time machine.

Bud Bartos had some great video footage I saw from the first "Cleveland" event. Bud would have something, me thinks.

Dumor jumped in with the SP-1. The prior car came from Schumaker USA and I would like to add one of those to the museum. Stormer, Hi Bob, is correct about Duffy. There was another partner, Chris Morris I think, that still has the company. Duffy left just before Superior took Corally. How is my memory?

PS - My memory isn't worth much now that I remember the little F-1 car from Corally. I won the 1998 ROAR Nats with that car. We had to run a special set of axles and differential conversions for 1/12 scale wheels on that one. The car originally came with 1/10 onroad wheels. The only way this car was allowed in the class was to put 1/12 scale wheels and tires on it. This turned out to be an advantage over the Tamiya and Kyosho F-1 cars of the time. Their wheels were large enough that they had too much traction when the bite came up.
