Old TC Cars - Still Racing Competitively
#797
Good to hear... I also handed my tc4 to another faster racer, and I could not believe what he did with it for a few laps.... Now I am convinced, I will start practicing more without changing much in my car....

Well I don't know if it'll be competitive with me behind the wheel yet but this is what I'll be trying to race this Summer TB03 with 418 suspension and Evo6 towers/mounts, gear diff in the rear, one way up front, 48p gears. I'm liking it a bit more than my TB03r so far.

Shot a couple pics of my TC4. Started out life as a club racer, but with some light massaging it's become pretty damn-fast. OVA and myself were swapping fast lap times today at our club's test n' tune. In the right hands, these cars still perform!

Raced my TC3 last night in VTA and had a very good time. I worked on the balance of the car a few days ago with my gforce scale and got it sorted out and my lap times showed.

How competitive are you with the TC3, cmb (and others)? I got out of road racing a long time ago and I'm thinking about breaking mine out to see if I want to get back into it.

My TC3 is very competitive at my local asphalt track. I run both 17.5 and 13.5. Ive managed to get the balance to my liking and I can easily keep up with more modern cars. I plan to swap out the shocks with something more updated. I also plan to drop in a mod motor just for fun. Let's see if the diffs and outdrives can handle the extra horsepower. Only one way to find out. Cheers.

Hey fellas, I thought I'd share my most recent blog post, covering my TC4 build. Let me know what you think, or if you have any questions.
