Thanks to Irock here is my ride fitted up with the Carbon Fiber chassis.

Came in 2nd in the first race of the year, beating out a number of Xrays, Ofna's new ride and a few TC6.1's.

Love this car. My all time favorite.

Thanks!

It's funny how the TA04 and TRF 414 are popular still. Tamiya really nailed it with this particular chassis.

They handle exceptionally well.

My local Hobbytown runs TC indoor on med traction carpet.

We ran rubber, until a few of us came in on XXpinks and killed the lap record.

After that everyone switched to Foams and our hobbytown can get them from BSR racing.

It's fun to run them on foams....

Thank man. It's the only ride to make it through all the buying and selling of other rides. I always go back to her. She is like a super hot but crazy Ex-girl friend.

While the car may look good, run great, and be fun to drive... almost anything on foams is going to be quicker than a modern TC with rubber tires. And you'll probably still do better than those with modern chassis due to the fact that new cars arent designed to run foams. To much flex to be effective.

Have fun. But dont miss tire truing and, adjusting set-ups and roll-out every other, and gettng new tires every rwce day run one bit.

I respectively disagree. It was on par easy when running rubber as well. All the new TCs are cookie cutter copies. Same car different color alum.

We run the same foams all season with the initial tru down to proper height. A little adjusting but really no more than a set of rubbers.

Maybe newer foams wear better than they used too then. I just remember the old days of foam TC and it required constant attention. If you have found a better way, then more power to you.

It could be our carpet also. It's not really RC carpet. It's also quite low traction.

That is most likely the main reason we can run a set thru the year.
