I once had some stickers that looked like dragster zoomie headers, they sped me up more than most upgrades

I got mine about 10 years ago, and couldn't get it to work. I didn't understand set up at the time and sold it.

Looking back, that thing was a bloody tank (it took many hits). Easily the most well put together TC of its time.

You should have bought a tc4 instead...... Anymore Xray t1 racers out there, really racing their cars??? I can't even see t3's anymore, so forget about t1's...lol.....
Desert, I also don't ever sell my cars...... They are my babies...lol... The only time I would sell my car is if I won a raffle, and the prize was an Xray....lol...

Here you go:

The overall arrangement of equipment is common to all four cars. All of the electronics are on the left to help balance the battery on the right. The differentials and belts are flipped to make room for the battery. This works well for all of the classes except TC, as it isn't possible to get the car balanced side-to-side and still make a 1380g minimum weight. (For TC I usually use a heavier, 6500 pack for power, and leave the thing unbalanced.)

The front end pic shows the SpecR gear diff and blade-style front sway bar. I cut out the center section of plastic from the upper bumper support so it's easier to adjust the sway bar. The bumper is cut from a knee pad purchased at the local gardening center.

The full-size LiPo is mounted at an angle to get it as far into the chassis as possible for balance. The front won't go in as far since it needs to clear the servo saver. The LiPo is held in position by a couple of very small angle brackets bolted to the chassis on its left side, the aluminum standoff on the right side, and the front and rear bulkheads. Battery access is simple, requiring only one screw to be removed from the standoff.

Fitting the LiPo into the car required some material to be removed from the rear bulkhead. This means that one mounting screw must be omitted. Fortunately the five remaining screws provide plenty of rigidity for the chassis.

The motor fan is mounted at an angle between the left rear bulkhead and the ESC, and is held in place by double-sticky tape to the main chassis and upper plate.

The NasTruck also has a Hello Kitty driver figure. The Topeka track is in a supermarket parking lot, and I regularly draw a small cheering section of kids urging the Kitty to victory.

Love that old pillow ball suspension. Way more adjustable than todays cars. But wait if they did that now, how could they sell us all the tuning parts we need?

See how I was right? I'm jealous myself!

I thought it was a shorty! Nice work there.

While I rarely ever run TC anymore I use my T1 FK05, still a great car and very easy to drive for me.

Xray folks only race the newest Xray car in serious competition... I race my tc4, and beat every single one of their new cars... I'm loving it !!!lol!!!..... If I get beat, it's usually my fault, not the tc4's fault....

I just won the USGT class this past weekend with my hpi rs4 pro 2. I installed sway bars, and it made a big difference.
