Machine for making my own parts (not for mass reproduction)?
I know this is getting TOO much.
I am just all too addicted to 12L3/12L4. I have a lot of editions i wanted to make to the factory parts, and somehow i wanna make parts for myself.
Is there any cutting and thruing machine for me to make my own parts? i can obtain appropriate materials very very easily. All I wanted is an economic but accurate (and if small size, all the better) machine to do the job. The machine(s) should be able to cut, drill, thru, sunk graphite, 7075 alunimium, titanium and Derlin.
Can anyone adivse me as to where i can get these machines (if they are available at all!). I am not looking mass production for selling on parts I made and designed (no one would be interested anyway), just they are accurate, cheap and small enough all would be all great.

Get your self a table or stand up mill.....and the bits you buy will determine what you will be able to cut. But a mill with the right bits will do what you described.

size...about 2 washing machines stacked....price...no clue, but over 1500

You can get smaller units, almost table top size, but they're still expensive. There are lower quality import units sold at places like Harbor Freight http://www.harborfreight.com/ that might work for you, but I have no idea what the machine quality is like. Can you do CAD work or drafting to show the design & dimensions of the parts? If so, I'd think your best bet would be to hook up with someone that already owns that type of equipment & pay to have it made for you; local machine shops or maybe the guy that runs BMI.

Check out Sherline mills, good prices and you can upgrade to CNC very easily.... Another good machine is a Smithy 3 in one....
You can also do small stuff with a router or drill press....

I can do the draft...but in my city i think no one is gonna do the making for me.... the shops look for good profit, model or machine shops
I am trying to dig out folks who are in heli/plane RC, perhaps they have the equip and help me out a bit.....but not many of them in my city anyway

Many parts that are plastic in nature can be molded at home.

Neat little program but it needs work. I'm anxious to see what price they give me for this part.
