Double and triple check that it is the pistons and not something else that is causing this. Not saying it could not be the pistons though. Sometimes, stuff can be out of spec.

mtbboy- I have a couple of set-ups on the thread here somewhere. What surface are you running on? I need to know so I can point you in the right direction.
So i went home and I checked the piston, the pistons look really smooth, I didn't sand them and I tried all of them on some new set of shocks and on my old shocks and they where the same results. I put back the old ones and it was nice and smooth, the only thing that I could see that was wrong was that your pistons where not the same size they are a little smaller so when they where inside the shock body there was a little slop

Run them in on the track. I noticed yesterday after building my new car that the shocks felt a little "scratchy" with all new parts yesterday. On my old car, this was not the case.

However, after a couple of runs, I noticed everything got smooth on the car. Now they are as smooth as my old shocks. My thinking is that they just need to break in.

I run the RSD pistons and bladders in all 12 of my associated shocks and they are smooth as silk. Much better than the stock parts. I use a shock pump to rid the tiny bubbles of course. I also change the red o-ring every time I open them up to re-fill with oil. No issues here. In fact, I cant wait for him to get more bladders in stock!

I hope you get the issue figured out and are able to the RSD stuff! It is a great upgrade!

Good luck to Reflex Drivers Jeff Cuffs and Matt Ward at the Snowbirds! Matt and Jeff are both running 17.5 Blinky TC, and I believe Jeff is running 17.5 boosted TC as well (Matts also running 17.5 pan). I wish I was tearing it up there with them

Bladders will be about a month or so... With the lunar year holiday everything is shut down for another week or two overseas at the factory where we get our bladders made.

And yes, good luck to all the RSD drivers at the 'birds... Jeff, Matt and whoever else I am missing.

Keven H, will also be representing for RSD, which is so exciting!!! Keven will be testing a few of our items...

I was waiting for bladders too. Guess I'll make a separate order so I can get my 6.1 rolling.

Hello,

just curious how are the DCJs progressing.

PS: the shipping rates were raised drastically for Europe!? 200% or more ...
