RSD6 body mounting position
I am curious, does the RSD6 chassis use the same body mounting position as the TC6? I have a bunch of bodies painted and am curious if I upgrade will the bodies drop on without any modification in the body post mounting positions.

Spring Ratings
Recently, we have been lucky enough to get to test hundreds of different springs on Avid's very cool spring gauge. This machine is super precise and allow us to test our springs and other brand's springs to get actual "TRUE RATINGS". With this, we have decided to start moving our spring ratings around a little bit to reflect this. As of tonight, I will change all the ratings of our springs to the "TRUE RATING" to reflect this. The springs have not changed, just our rating system.
Below are the new rates:
-RSD Teal 11.5
-AE Green 11.6
-RSD Yellow 12.8
-RSD Silver 13.6
-RSD Green 14.0
-RSD Blue 14.4
-AE Silver 14.5
-RSD Red 15.5
-RSD Purple 16.4
-AE Blue 16.6
Keep in mind, these are average for the springs and that the springs from AE to RSD might be similar in rate, however they will behave differently as AE uses different size wire for their springs than we do. Right now, all of our springs are made of 1.4mm wire, AE uses different sizes for different springs.
Also, we now have a new spring vendor, which we are very happy with. All our new springs will have a black zinc plated finish, to provide protection from corrosion and also, because they look way better. :P However, this means that once the natural finish springs run out, that's it, they will be no more. All the springs will be replaced by the new "black" springs over time.

Spring ??
Hi CT, not sure if this has been asked/answered? With the AE springs and the reflex springs on the list are they linear rate springs or progressive? Thanks for the info!

All springs listed are pretty much linear. However, all springs get slightly stiffer as they compress. The lesser the number of coils, typically the more "progressive" a spring will be. This progressiveness comes from the dead coil of the spring and it's relationship to the pitch of the active coils of a spring. A higher pitch angle means less coils typically and my feeling is that since it takes much more force to move the active coils, the dead coil compresses first before it gets into compressing the active coils much.
However, to be true progressive springs, the spring has to have 2 visibly different coil pitches, like the old HPI ones. I have not tested the new XRAY springs, which they claim are progressive, but will soon. My guess is they are using a thinner wire with a higher coil pitch angle to achieve some of this "progressive effect", however, this does not technically make them "true progressive" springs.

The drawback to moving the paint could be that it's easier for people to spy on your spring rates. I don't know if that's important to your customers or not, though.

Since driving outdoor this year on a dusty track I can see the blue color vanishing on the spring. So I think for a multiyear use it will be good to find a place for the colour where it does not touch anything, but air
