Would be nice to hear from US guys who already got their kits ... specially if they tried it back to back with the original kit.

About the top deck it would be nice to have different thicknesses let's say 2.0mm; 1.8mm; 1.6mm?? Instead of just different cut variations.
We will probably have at least one 2mm top deck soon. However, I am not sure if we will make different thickness ones as the other sizes are non-standard carbon and we need to order a lot of material to get them done, it just is not cost efficient.

We are considering a 2.00mm option lower deck for extreme situations, but we still are in planning stages. The chassis has to be cut differently or it would be too soft.

Oh that's a point I didn't think of that. Some posts back you mentioned you will explain how to cut the top deck. Any suggestions on that?

Thanks

What's the "best" / easiest way to "cut" the top deck?

Thanks.

If you mean what to cut it with, just use a dremel. Cut off wheel and sanding drum. Cut it where CT shows.

CT, the bearings for the tc6 and the dcj's, i tried to use the 5x10x4 and they are wider than the steering block recess. should i have used a 5x10x3 instead? did i miss something?

Yes, if you are using a TC6, you must use 5x10x3 bearings. The TC6.1 uses 5x10x4's.

Default New Products

Nothing major, but we do have 2 new offerings:

RSD028 RSD6 Servo Saver Set

Comes with 18mm Aluminum horn, great for the RSD6 and other Dual Bell Crank TCs.

RSD031 RSD 4mm E Clips

These are the lay shaft e clips. I hate it when I lose one, so it is a great thing to keep spare.
