This weekend was the 2013 Carpet Showdown in Albertville, AL. With only one weekend of testing on the 6.2 EVO and without even pushing the car hard, I qualified 3rd in the A and on lap one took the lead. I was not challenged until 3 1/2 minutes into the race at which point I got together with the lap car and broke the dog bone drive pin (rear stock associated) and finished 5th. All I can say is WOW...this car was awesome and very dominant. Thanks Cristian for all the hard work on this car. It is truly a work of art. On a bright note, I totally dominated 13.5 1/12th scale.

Christian, can you please explain to me what the 5.5mm conversion is for the TC6.1? I hope it is what I think it is.

It's essentially a shorter shock conversion kit. It is designed to be used with the stock shocks, with shorter shock ends, which allow to run 5.5mm shorter shock towers.

You won't be able to run higher than 1b roll centers properly, but with all our testing the car works best with 3A and 0B roll center blocks. The shorter shocks increase reaction time and generate much more corner speed. The on power steering is pretty obscene with the shorter shocks. So much so that I am finally liking a gear diff with 1 million cst oil to reduce some steering.

Cristian,

Do you have arrival date for your T4 short spring sets. I may have some interest in them. have you posted any additional details about them on your website?

Thanks,
Steve

Looking to get a 6.2 complete set but it is OOS. Is it the same as getting the chassis and then adding a bell crank?

Does it fit the standard springs?

Not really. You might be able to use 25mm springs like HPIs and Yokes, but they won't allow much adjustment.

When will the 6.2Evo full conversion kit, and the 6.1 tuning kit be back in stock?
