Ethan, what are you trying to do? The Spec R clips should work on our DCJ's and vice versa. If the large clip on our DCJ is a little loose, you can either Crimp them, which works or you can use the small silver clip on the big side and use black clips on the small side.

Awesome, thanks! Order placed.

I'm interested in replacing the clips from spec-r on the spec-r DCJs with your clips. I would buy new DCJs from you guys, but the ones I haven't aren't that old, and work ok other than the clips kinda sucking.

Sounds like I should just pick up a set of clips from you guys and try it out.

Thanks,
E

I recieved my new DCJs thursday, got them assembled and on the T4 for some Friday Night VTA racing. Being a tight track that requires alot of steering, I noticed a big difference over stock axles. I used Hudy graphite grease on them. My large clips were a little loose, but I just squeezed them together with needle noses and they fit fine.

When are the battery hold downs gonna be back in stock for the Xrays?

The Battery hold downs should be ready middle of next month. Along with the other goodies.

In a few days, we should have the TC6 rear bumpers back in stock and in about 10 days we should hopefully have the springs for the XRAY T4.

Hey Christian,

I received and built my RSD071 wide DCJ axles last night (thanks for the fast shipping!) and installed them into my TC6. I had some other brand DCJs installed previously so my caster blocks were already opened up for more clearance. However, it appears the RSD units are rubbing. Best I can tell, it looks like more material needs to be removed.

Before I start wallowing them out with my unibit and do a bunch of trial and error, I was curious if you (or anyone else here) knew what size I should target that would provide the proper clearance? I'd rather not remove any more material than needed, of course.

Thanks in advance!
Tommy

Should be between 10.5-11 mm

I widened mine out to 10mm and rounded the corners on the outside. Plenty of clearance!

I took a 13/32" unibit and it looks like it's going to work out nicely. Should know for sure later tonight when I finish the installation.

I just received my V2 DCJs for Xray. The one problem I had was that the narrow bearing would not slide all the way down the axle. I think I could of forced it the rest of the way but I don't think I would have ever got it back off. That and the larger clip needed some bending but that was no big deal. Other then that I think for the price it's a good deal.

Christian are you going to have opt. upgrade parts for the spec-r cars or a cross reference listing that will work with the kit. I've got an S1 which I plan for the vta eos races.

Pit, if you go on the website and you look at the parts category for the R1/S1 then you can see the parts that are compatible. In other words, if the part is listed, it works.

On another note, TC6 Carbon Fiber rear bumpers are back in stock!

Nope, no news. China just as barely started to work and we are still trying to source the right material. The old source dried up
