Default Racing in Lanzarote

I am off to holiday at christmas and have seen a nice looking RC track situated next to a Go-kart track on the island. I know that the scope for RC on such a small island is not big; but does anybody have any information, links or can direct me to anybody I can talk too, sorry I can not write in Spanish so I hope someone on the island can read English. Thanks for your help. Jonathan

Malta is a small island too, but we have plenty of RC racing here.

And the standard is pretty high too.

We are planning another International for Easter 2005.

Anyone interested ?

Default rc in Lanzarote

Jonny69 -

Looks like there is a track used for 1/8th, 1/5th Nitro and one for Mini-z.

Nitro is next to the karting track at Puerto del Carmen and Mini-Z is at the Social-Cultural Centre in Graciosa, Teguise I think!

Here's the link to the club:

If you can't read Spanish, you can translate using:

I'm off there tomorrow too but won't be taking the HPI Savage or the electric touring cars. Might sneak the Mini-Z in the suitcase though -

JohnBull - I've been meaning to get out and race in Malta for the past few years but never managed to fit it in! Do you have a set date for the Easter 2005 meeting - will it be Easter weekend?

thanks,

Keith

What is the temperature like in Malta in the easter?
I was there on a training camp (swimming) early this summer, and really enjoyed the place

I would most definitely like to come over to Malta, if I can afford it...
