Default R2 shock oil

Guys,

I just got my R2 and I love it. Whats the recomended shock oil to use? I cant understand the manual cuz its in Japanese. Also I'm sure you guys have enough experience with this car I'd want a suggestion on what oil to use if I like my Evo3 setup
with 50wt oil, what would it be on the R2? For now I just
settled to use my Evo3 shocks on my R2 but I'd really like to use the R2 shocks instead.

Try using HPI #2 pistons with 40wt oil and the stock springs as a sterting point, and tune from there.

well the stock pistion that comes with the R2 has small holes...so I would try using about 25~30 W oil and then go up form there if you don`t want to change the pistons to the HPI ones..

What's up with the R2 threads lately, they have been dead I would normally leave for a few hours and have a new page to read... where is everyone?

I guess fish owners have been busy lately. Gotta remember that these fish are expensive so the elite groups such as those with kids and some extra pocket change are mostly getting ready to put their kids back into school is what I think. LOL

How'd you do on Tuesday?

I feel sooo sorry for you

if you want to make things easy on yourself just send two or three of them over here I'll help ease your "burden"

My parcel arrived
now I have a nice new diff for tonight, aswell as the one I just worked on that was knackered and is now back to usefullness, although will never be perfect. Slight problem though I can't find my black grease for the thrust balls Any one know a good substitute?

Lots of springs to play with tonight too, and quick shock position changes are now possible thanks to a little titanium

KO may I ask why you're selling the torx screw set? seems a little odd
