Hey Dave, have you ever come across a few weak/brittle chassis?
Whilst working on my cuda just now I noticed another spot where the graphite seems to have chipped or more like shattered off a layer or two, noticed as a felt a splinter of graphite stuck in my finger
it's at the holes on the outside edge of the motor mount and there are signs of a crack starting to go into the chassis at this point
I know my chassis has taken a lot of punishment at some places but I sealed the edges well and there haven't been many crashes, just some hits as it bottoms out, which I would expect to scrape it more than chip it, which it has at the rear right. The motor mount one is obviously a weak spot but they way it has shattered more than split is annoying, and around the right rear screw hole it's done a similar thing, then at the corner itself it has split.
I was planning on replacing the chassis anyway, in a future upgrade/second kit build, but I didn't think it would be this urgent this soon
I've seen plenty other chassis take similar punishment and worse and be years older yet they hold up better
