Followed a bit of thsi thread as I find the Cuda R2 a very intriguing car and am considering getting one. I saw some posts with regards to a "web special" with regards to the Cuda and I am curious what exactly this kit is and where it can be obtained? Curious from any that run the Cuda on tight Ozite indoor tracks with rubber what they think of the cars handling.

I have this done to all my R2`s
a must do if your serious...

-Dave
Glad to learn that trick, I'll have to change the cars over..

there are 2 models of RS pistions now too hehehe

The HPI pistons have a little bit of up/down play, so hopefully the RS pistons will be a tight fit...

Sorry, the Web Special is extinct now, only 100 kits were made... It is basically a regular R2 with a flipped chassis, and a bundle of hopups, anodized orange.

which HPI pistons did you order...if you ordered the All gray ones then yes you will have a "slight" bit of plat....I don`t use these....

but the Other Hpi Piston set that comes with the white and black pistons are the ones you want...they fit perfect..

HPI parts #72210..... thats the one you need and you`ll need 2 sets of them.
