Default My mate got one of these..

I'm guessing it's a clone of something more proper.
Any ideas?
Sorry to make a clone thread >.<

It's a copy of the Corally SP12M.

It's sold in the UK as the FTX Phantom, with full support from CML Distribution so spares are readily available, unlike the Chinese clone touring cars.

As far as I know FTX Phantom was copy of AE pan car, don't remember if version 3 or 4.

You're right, wrote my reply this morning over breakfast and was a choice of one of two cars and I picked the wrong one.

It actually is a VH-12 Fireblade.
Hard to find spares these days but all parts except the battery holders are interchangeable with Corally spares so easy to fix if anything breaks.

Default question concerning these cars

Is the chassis epoxy or black anodised aluminium?
I'd like to convert one of these to GT2 dimensions: how wide are they in the front and rear?
