Default Battery Zapping Questions

Hi hardcore racers.

I have a few questions about the process of battey zapping.

As far as I know, the zapper puts a variable voltage between the terminals of the cell, but assuming a cell´s resistance of 3mOhm (0.003 Ohm) and applying Ohm´s law:

If we apply 80V: I=V/R--->I=80/0.003= 26,666 Amps!!!!

This is impossible. Where is the trick?

Thank you

As soon as the Zap starts, the voltage of the capacitor drops. The current peak is over 1000 amps but for only a milli second or 2. Ohms law does apply, just the voltage is dropping very fast.
