I think you will better off buying a new or used 10r5 kit instead of trying to piece together all the parts for a conversion.

I just priced out all the pieces at Stormer and converting it would run you $171. A new kit sets you back $250. Seems like a no brainer.

The parts numbers are ASC8510 thru ASC8522 a total of 13 different items.

Just looking at that list and there may be a couple more items you would want. I don't have a 10r5 so I could be wrong though. For instance, with the old 12L4 style front end the 1/10th's had a longer kingpin and spring. I would think you would want to do the same.

I think it would be better to keep an eye out for a good deal on a used 10r5. Then you would have two cars.

Default 10R5 to 12R5 ??

Just wondering: what about converting the other way? 10R5 to 12R5. Would it need much more than chassis, kingpins, hubs?
